Nora Bite trio

Nora Bite was born in Latvia, and has been London based since 2010. She has played around London jazz clubs and UK festivals with different projects and her own trio. With 25 years of career in music Nora also been touring around the world with different projects over the years.

Trio played gigs to Boston, USA in the year 2016. She was also hosting a weekly jazz jam in Shoreditch, London for 4 years with original music played in the first set every week as well as jazz standards all night as a house band. 

Her written music is a mixture of modern jazz, standard jazz and improvised music which incorporates melodic improvisations with interactive band.

Jazz standards repertoire includes compositions of Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, Gigi Gryce, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Clifford Brown, Sam Rivers and many more.

Jazz Standards trio primary sound is swing and bebop. But we also implement some latin and bossa nova as well as ballads.
